Family Therapy

Family Therapy is conducted with the child client and his/her parents, caregivers, and/or siblings. All casework includes school staff collaboration and consultation.

Parent Support Groups

Parent Support Groups provide a space for parent graduates of the Echo Parenting classes to meet and receive ongoing support on non-violent parenting principles. Groups meet monthly and cover a range of topics. For example, parents recently asked JUNTOS to launch a support group for parents with students with disabilities.

Parenting Classes

Parenting Classes are provided using the Echo Parenting and Education curriculum which emphasizes and encourages greater parent‐child connection and communication to effectively break the cycle of family violence. A JUNTOS clinician trained and certified in the Echo model delivers 10‐week Echo Parenting classes at campuses across the Lennox School District in Spanish. Childcare is provided to help reduce barriers to participation.

Parent Salons

Parent Salons are two‐hour workshops designed to recruit new clients and spread awareness about JUNTOS and its services.
